Green Tidings All Natural Deodorant Ingredients:

Manihot Esculenta (Tapioca) Starch: From the cassava plant. Gluten-free, high in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Soothes, softens, and moisturizes the skin, while absorbing moisture. Deodorizing, healing, helps clear acne.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: Anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory. Contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants, and is very moisturizing.

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) : Absorbs perspiration, anti-bacterial, natural deodorant. Our baking soda is naturally mined from the Earth, without chemical alteration. Using baking soda as a deodorant is a simple way to combat body odor without subjecting your pits to a variety of chemicals.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) (Unrefined, Fair Trade) : Anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. Contains vitamins A, E, and F, proteins, fatty acids, and healing minerals, and can help with dry skin without clogging pores.

Magnesium Chloride (Magnesium Oil) : Anti-deodorant. Magnesium is also an extremely important mineral for health. Contains only raw, ultra-pure magnesium chloride.

Wildcrafted Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax: Natural thickener and moisturizer. Grown in the wild without pesticides. A vegan alternative to beeswax.

Pink Grapefruit, Vanilla, Blood Orange, & Tangerine Essential Oils: : 100% pure– not cut with carriers or water.

Safety Information

Applying right after shaving may cause skin irritation. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use. A "detox" may happen when switching from a tradition What if I get a rash or skin irritation? A rash can be due to the any of the following: 1) Detox reaction. This is your body expelling all the nasty ingredients from your previous toxic deodorant, and finally having the freedom to sweat naturally again. This type of rash clears up within 1 month. You can try to go without any deodorant whenever you can, or use the vinegar spray, below, while your body detoxes. 2) pH adjustment. For some, the deodorant will irritate the skin as the body adjusts to its pH levels. Sometimes this can even occur after having used the deodorant for some time. A simple remedy is to combine 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar with one cup of distilled water. Spray underarms. Let dry. Then apply deodorant. Repeat for a week. If this does not work, take 1 week off from the deodorant and use only the vinegar spray (which will help with odor, too). Begin using the deodorant again after a week has passed. 3) Skin irritation due to one of the ingredients. Your body could be sensitive to one of the natural ingredients. Lavender essential oil is irritating to some, Stop using if this is the case, and contact us at support@greentidings.org.

Ingredients

Virgin Coconut Oil, Shea Butter (Unrefined, Fair Trade), Magnesium Oil, Manuhot Esculenta (Tapioca) Starch, Aluminum-Free Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate), Wildcrafted Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia Cerifera). 100% pure lavender essential oils of Pink Grapefruit, Vanilla, Blood Orange, & Tangerine.

Directions

Apply a couple thin swipes daily to under arms as needed for odor control. If product is cold, it can harden. Simply hold onto skin for a few seconds before applying. If product is too soft, store in a cool area.

EXPIRATION PLEASE NOTE: Some of our labels have typos on the expiration date. They should read "Please use within 3 years of the date on the bottom," NOT "2." Our chemists have informed us that our deodorant should be good for 5 years, but we decided to shorten it to 3. We do plan to change our Sensitive Skin labels to a 5 year expiration date. Please use within 3 years of the date on the bottom, which is the date of manufacture. Please note that some labels have typos, and should read "3 years" rather than "2 years." Our chemists have determined that our deodorants have a shelf life of around 5 years, but we chose "3" to be conservative.

Great product and service!

As all natural deoderant users know, they don't keep you from sweating like normal deoderants do and this one is no exception. However, I do feel like it helps with moisture, it smells great, and its kept me fresh through this heatwave and workouts. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Also, their customer service team is great !

Very nice

I picked the orange vanilla scented one. I'm always happy to come across a new natural deodorant option. The aluminum and other additives in commercial antiperspirant brands are scary. You're supposed to sweat. It's the way your body gets rid of toxins. This smells like orange in the tube but once applied smells a little more like carrots lol. But not to others, apparently. My family has noses like bloodhounds and haven't noticed. It works great, though. I sweat, but minimally. I've worn it with fancy tops and no stains. I wear it to work out and I don't smell like gym socks when I'm done. This works better than Tom's and a few other brands I've tried, so I've added it to my subscribe and save.

I even wrote to the seller to inquire about the expiration date because my container had a 04-19 date on it and I initially thought it was expired. That is the date it was manufactured and will be good for 2 years.

it works

I've been trying a lot of different natural deodorants, most work for a little while, but working in the yard or getting a suntan can destroy them. This is the only one so far that has worked consistently in humid hot conditions.

I work outside in extreme temperatures and had to switch from the commercial products. I have tried four "natural" products so far, and this one definitely works better and longer than the other three that I tried. As the other reviews mentioned, you should soften it under your arm for a minute or so before actually applying, but it doesn't take much, it has a soft, pleasant scent, and I had no unpleasant side effects. Definitely recommend!
